MGSOC General Meetings are free to MGSOC members and MGSOC members are required to wear their Master Gardener badges. Visitors are welcome and pay $5.00 at the door. Members and visitors, please sign in at the welcome table. There are complimentary refreshments of desserts and drinks served at the MGSOC meetings. Additionally, mini-meals of soup or salads may be purchased for $3.00. For those wishing meals, mini-meals are served at 6 p.m, the business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Our speakers begin promptly at 7 p.m. Members making or bringing meal portion salads or soups need not pay the $3.00.

MSU Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program
The MSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program is a 14-week volunteer training program that provides an in-depth education in many aspects of horticulture. Extension Master Gardener Volunteers improve the quality of life in Michigan through horticulture-based volunteerism throughout the state.
The next Oakland County program will be at MSU Tollgate Farm in Novi, on Tuesdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. starting on March 5th and running through June 11th.
Registration deadline is Monday, February 18, 2019
