MGSOC general meetings are held at the:

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church
5631 North Adams Road
Bloomfield Hills, MI

MGSOC General Meetings are free to MGSOC members and MGSOC members are required to wear their Master Gardener badges. Visitors are welcome and pay $5.00 at the door. Members and visitors, please sign in at the welcome table. There are complimentary refreshments of desserts and drinks served at the MGSOC meetings. Additionally, mini-meals of soup or salads may be purchased for $3.00. For those wishing meals, mini-meals are served at 6 p.m, the business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Our speakers begin promptly at 7 p.m.  Members making or bringing meal portion salads or soups need not pay the $3.00.

    Seed Saving with Bevin Cohen (Food: General Gardens)

    Author and Seed Enthusiast, Bevin (Ben) Cohen will discuss the ins and outs of seed saving. Bevin lives and and works at Small House Farm with his wife and sons. On their family homestead, the Cohen family grows seed crops, herbs and flowers. Bevin is also the founder of Michigan Seed Library, a community seed sharing initiative that has worked closely with a number of communities to help establish seed library programs across his home state and beyond.
